Research On The Practice And Characteristics Of Minimalist Architecture In China

At the end of the 20 th century,a minimalist architecture characterized by a simple form,pure space and delicate detail attracted the attention of the architectural community.Nowadays,minimalist architecture has become an important force in modern architecture,and the domestic architecture industry has also caused a craze of minimalism.The minimalist design follows the design concept of "less is more",and its concept has a far-reaching influence on landscape design,interior design,architectural design and other fields.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the minimalist architecture in China.The The minimalist architecture is closely related to the minimalist art produced in the 1960 s.Firstly,this paper introduces the background and representative characters of minimalism and summarizes the basic characteristics of minimalism.On this basis,this paper analyzes the minimalist architecture's development,expounds the cause of minimalist architecture,theory origin,analyzes the minimalist architecture representative figures and their works,summarizes the basic characteristics of the minimalist architecture,which forms a systematic understanding of the minimalism architecture.Secondly,this paper expounds the development of domestic minimalist architecture,analyzes the current situation of domestic minimalist architecture and examples,and summarizes the characteristics of domestic minimalist architecture in terms of from space,environment,light,epidermis,detail aspects.The limitations of minimalist architecture are revealed and the new development trend of minimalism in China is expounded.Finally,the minimalist architecture theory is applied to the design of Mr.Zhang's house.Through the research on the practice and characteristics of minimalist architecture,this paper provides some references for architects and other relevant researchers.
