In recent years,with the rapid development of our country's social industrialization and the rapid development of science and technology,owners continuously improve the design and construction level and service quality of projects.There has been a shortage of high-quality compound and skilled talents.The market competition in geotechnical engineering is increasingly challenging.Therefore,a new technology idea and method-BIM(Building Information Modeling)came into being.BIM is an important technology that can promote the innovation and development of the design and construction industry,it is a breakthrough in the field of geotechnical engineering to achieve technological innovation and transformation and upgrading.Combining the entire life cycle of construction projects with BIM is the future trend of the industry.At present,the application and research of this technology in the design and construction is still insufficient.Most of the domestic research literatures on it has evaded the special and complex conditions in the highway projects.Such as setting the height and widening on models,and the design of the retaining wall models.The paper is based on these research literatures at home and abroad.Applying BIM to Retaining Wall Design and Construction System Research demonstrate the possibility of successful research.In this paper,the fourth grade highway in a mountainous area is taken as an example.The main contents of the research are as follows:(1)Research on Retaining Structure Design Based on BIMBuilding Retaining Wall Model Based on Autodesk Civil3 D Software Platform.Secondary Development of Stability Checking System for Retaining Wall Using VBA.In the study of the BIM retaining wall model,I will study the establishment of three-dimensional geological models and complex highway models with super-widening as the basis for the study of BIM design of retaining walls.Based on the design theory of retaining wall,I will focus on the development of retaining wall components using SAC and VB.NET.The BIM model of the retaining wall will be eventually established through research.This paper studies the stability system of retaining walls by using VBA as a development language in Autodesk Civil 3D software,and realize the integration of BIM model design and verification for retaining walls.Through engineering examples,the advantages and disadvantages of the design of highway retaining walls are compared with BIM technology and traditional methoddesign methods,and the superiority of BIM technology is summarized.(2)Research on Retaining Structure Construction System Based on BIMBased on the research results of BIM design of retaining wall,the construction management using BIM will be studied.Specifically include:transforming the BIM design model into Navisworks software for construction visualization studies:In the BIM environment,study the automatic statistics of the amount of the retaining wall of the highway;Combine with the progress management software Project,the 4D construction progress model of the project will be studied and implemented;And visually simulate the construction process and key construction of the highway retaining structure,optimize the construction program;In the end,research was conducted to integrate the construction BIM model with the iPad for on-site control and to innovate the traditional on-site management and delivery methods.
