In recent years,the process of urbanization in China has been promoted continuously.With the sustainable growth of the scale of Chinese cities,urban infrastructure systems are been rapidly updating as well.As the result,the number of urban road construction projects increases year by year.During the construction,occupying the lanes will reduce the existing roadway capacity,generate extra traffic delay for the whole urban transportation system so that cause considerable negative impacts on the traffic operation.In particular,for the arterial segments in urban central business areas,road occupation may lead to extremely serious traffic congestion,significantly affecting the current social and economic activities and citizens' daily life.To set standardized traffic guidance information for urban roadway construction projects will increase the acceptance rate and utilization rate of traffic guidance and improve the traffic operation efficiency in the areas affected by construction projects.In order to alleviate the negative impacts of urban roadway construction projects,we first analyzed the traffic characteristic and its impacts in this paper.Considering the previous studies related to this topic,we proposed a method for estimating the maximum traffic demands that can be re-arranged.And a model for traffic re-organizing and how the traffic can be assign to suitable paths had been created.Meanwhile,based on the shock wave theory of urban road traffic flow obstruction,this paper analyzes the shock wave characteristics of the road network under the influence of construction footprint,establishes a model of road network block shock wave diffusion based on the construction impact,and proposes a method for determining the scope of construction traffic impact.Based on determining the amount of induced traffic and the scope of induction,the issue of the content of publishing of traffic guidance information and the standardization of the method of distribution were further studied.The standard model of the content and release of construction guidance information was proposed,and the impact of different construction footprints was formed.Traffic inducing program formulation method and information release standardization language.In the last section of this paper,we selected the construction project of a road in Chongqing as an example to verify the methods in this paper.The scope of impact generated by this construction project and the broadcasting plan of the traffic guidance information were proven effective.It can help for the standardization study of the traffic guidance related to urban roadway construction projects.
