Traffic in China is developing vigorously,and the total mileage of tunnels has also shown a rapid growth.Energy-saving of tunnel illumination has become an important issue in energy-saving research.This paper refers to a large number of energy-saving in tunnel illumination and bright pavement technology related literature,mainly to study the embedded pavement performance and effects to tunnel illumination.The pavement performance mainly includes antiskid property,moisture susceptibility,and cohesiveness.Test results show that compared with traditional asphalt mixtures,the asphalt mixture embedded in bright aggregate will have slightly reduced skid antiskid property,moisture susceptibility,and cohesiveness,but it still meets the requirements of the specification.At the same time,the specimens embedded with bright stone will have a small increase in antiskid property.Specifically,The SA2.36,SA4.75,BA2.36,and BA4.75 specimens were less affected by the antiskid property,moisture susceptibility,and cohesiveness of the same bright aggregate embedding scheme.SA2.36 and SA4.75 specimens' antiskid property has even been improved.In order to accurately and effectively evaluate the energy-saving effect of energy-saving tunnel pavement,a tunnel model was used to study the impact of different tunnel pavement on the average illumination and mean brightness of the pavement under the same lighting conditions and the reflection coefficients of different pavement.Test results show that under the same lighting conditions,the mean brightness of bright asphalt pavement increases significantly,which is 7% to 20% higher than traditional asphalt pavement.With the increase of the ratio of embedding of bright aggregates,the mean brightness of pavement under the same illumination shows an increasing trend.Under the same lighting conditions,the average illumination of bright asphalt pavement is not significantly increased.Calculate the reflection coefficient of different pavement according to the measured illumination and brightness at the measurement points of the measurement area,and conclude that embedding bright aggregates can improve the reflectance of asphalt pavement.With the increase of the ratio of bright embedding,the reflectance of bright pavement shows an increasing trend.Finally,this paper,considering the pavement performance and lighting energy-saving indicators of each embedded scheme,proposed to replace the 4.75~9.5mm partial aggregates with 9.5% of bright aggregates as the energy-efficient embedding of tunnel pavement.And the construction process is studied in this scheme.
