| Recently,with the life rhythm becoming rapidly,the bad habits such as irrational dietary structure and lack of exercise,have affected the health of human beings,leading to a high growth of the incidence of obesity-related diseases.At present,obesity has become an important factor threatening the health of people in China.How to effectively curb the growth of the incidence of obesity is one of the health issues which.is urgent to solve.Body fat ratio directly reflecting body fat content can more scientifically and accurately evaluate the user’s degree of obesity,comparing with the other evaluation indicator of obesity such as body weight and body mass index(BMI).Thus,this dissertation used body fat ratio as the evaluation indicator of obesity.Considering the existing shortages of body fat detectors in daily monitoring and prevention of obesity,this dissertation has designed an intelligent home health monitoring system equipped with the smart toilet which can unconsciously monitor several physiological parameters such as body weight and body fat ratio in daily life,and also provide health management functions.The system proves effective in prevention of obesity and could provide reliable data support for smart home.The mayor work are as follows:(1)The Study of Detection Theory of Body Fat ContentThis part investigated the basic principle of body fat content detection based on the theory of the bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA),and analyzed the relationship between bioelectrical impedance and body fat content.Moreover,in order to integrate body fat ratio measurement into the smart toilet,this dissertation designed a new measurement model of bioelectrical impedance using a palm to thigh current path.(2)The Design and Implementation of Home Health Monitoring SystemBased on the theory of the bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA)and the smart toilet,the system relying on the cloud server was implemented by the structural design,hardware and software development.The system realized a lot of functions such as healthy washing,measurements of several physiological parameters,human-computer interaction function as well as health management function,consisting of smart toilet,physiological parameters measurement module,android application software and the cloud data platform of physiological parameters.(3)ExperimentsBased on the system,the accuracy and repeatability experiments of body weight measurement and body fat ratio measurement were conducted.The results showed that the body weight measurement and body fat ratio measurement of this system have high accuracy and good repeatability,satisfying with the design requirements.The experimental results presented the validity of this health monitoring system which can apply to daily monitoring for human beings.The innovation points of this paper are as follows:(1)This dissertation presented a new model measuring bioelectrical impedance using a palm to thigh current path,which is convenient for using a smart toilet in daily life and developed an activity shaft device mounted on the toilet seat which was used to replace the traditional fix shaft device,ensuring the accuracy of the body weight measurement.(2)Based on cloud platform and intelligence terminal of the healthy bathroom Terminal,the system integrates the physiological parameters measurement into daily life,realizing the dynamic health monitoring in daily life and provides core modules for the construction of home health center. |
