Car instrument is the main driving information interface of the car,which has an important influence on the driving safety of the car.In addition,it also affects the visual comfort,the sense of science and technology of the car interior,the luxurious feeling,etc.Therefore,it is important to evaluate the car instrument interface.The Car instrument is developing rapidly;it has been upgraded many times.From the development trend point of view,the instrument is developing towards the full liquid crystal style,and towards the multi-functional direction,and it is more in line with the human aesthetic.Therefore,this article mainly studies the interface design evaluation of the car full liquid crystal instrument.The article uses the method of Kansei engineering(semantic difference method)for subjective evaluation,and uses the eye tracker to do experiments to analyze and objectively evaluate the results.This combination of subjective and objective can provide a more reasonable evaluation method of interface design of car full liquid crystal instrument.It can also provide guidance for the actual projects of enterprises.This article uses one of the method of Kansei engineering,the semantic difference method,as well as Tobii Pro Glasses2 wearable eye tracker to do research.The research is divided into four parts:(1)Relevant theories research: Kansei Engineering,eye tracker theory,theory of information transmission,ergonomics requirements of car dashboard and so on.(2)Market research: Through extensive collection of pictures of car instrument on the market in nearly one and two years,then analyzing their regularities and main features : such as the main layout,color match and display style to guide the research of full liquid crystal instrument,and selecting a variety of representative full liquid crystal car instrument as research object.(3)Subjective evaluation: Using semantic difference method to do Kansei engineering research.First of all,through multiple screening to determine the emotional word pairs for the evaluation,such as: dynamic-calm,luxury – simple.Then use the method of questionnaire to do scoring quantification,and then doing data analysis and charting.Through the charts,the difference of the emotional image of the different evaluation objects can be intuitively seen.It helps to grasp the emotional needs of consumers.(4)Objective evaluation: Using the eye tracker to do eye movement test on the full liquid crystal instrument interface samples.Obtaining the images and data such as Hotspot,Scanpath and AOI total visiting time.Through them,the location of the subject’s visual fixation,the movement path of the gaze point as well as the differences of recognition efficiency of the instrument interfaces can be seen.This article used a combination evaluation method of subjective and objective to evaluate different types of car full liquid crystal instruments.The design of the car instruments should not only consider the reading efficiency,but also the preference for the instruments of consumers as well as their subjective feelings of the instrument interface style,such as the sense of luxurious,the sense of sports,the sense of business and so on.
