Design And Implementation Of DCS Controller Based On Zynq

DCS controller is the core of the DCS control system,all of the control algorithm and control logic is designed in the DCS controller.The performance of the controller directly affects the real-time performance and reliability of the whole DCS control system.Designed interface rich,high-performance DCS controller to improve the decentralized control system and other automated control system has an important level of the overall significance.This paper introduces the concept of DCS system,the development history and the current development situation both at home and abroad.This paper analyzes the application of DCS control system in automatic control and the design of the DCS controller.This paper presents a design scheme of DCS controller based on Zynq by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different DCS control systems in scalable communication interface,computing speed and hardware cost,and combining with the research results of various CPU chips.First of all,based on the dual-core ARM and FPGA in one of the Zynq chip as DCS controller CPU,completed the overall design of the controller.Second,use Zynq 's ARM achieve the CPU minimum system,through the Zynq FPGA's to achieve multiple RS485,Ethernet,LVDS,timing circuit and so on.ARM and FPGA in the Zynq using AXI bus communication,high communication rate,high data throughput,and low power consumption,take up less space.Especially without additional peripherals expansion chip can increase the number of RS485 and Ethernet.Finally,complete all the hardware design of the controller.The DCS controller studied in this topic,has a rigorous experiment in a well-known domestic power companies.The experimental results show that the DCS controller function and performance meet the application requirements of the product,and the operation speed is fast,the communication interface is rich,the configuration is strong and the hardware cost is low.The controller can be applied to the system performance requirements High application,has a broad application prospects.
