Xilinx introduces a high performance zynq series core board,which integrates dual-core arm and FPGA in one,can solve the large number of data processing problems in different signal processing applications,and can extend the characteristics of the processing system by implementing more peripherals.It has the advantages of high,low power consumption,high-speed exchange..Based on the FPGA zynq series development and design of a new high performance RTU device.The RTU device is used to monitor and control the operation of high speed railway 10 kV power supply system,which is mainly used to collect and calculate the real-time data such as current,voltage and power.Calculation of data in real-time,accurate and fast,in order to take protective measures in a timely manner,not only can guarantee the reliability of power supply,but also for power system stability,safety and economy are very important.In the measurement of the fundamental signal effective value process,the existence of harmonic will cause the measured value is not accurate,so need to filter the harmonic signal,we use the FDAtool tool to design the 50 Hz bandpass filter,analyze the frequency characteristic of the filter,and then through the calculation of quantization,FIR filter coefficients generated,then import the FIR IP kernel filter coefficients in the parameter setting,complete implementation of IP kernel;the input signal through digital zero crossing detection method to calculate the frequency,and then filtered through the digital integral number to find out the signal effective value,the non integer period error compensation algorithm calculation error;and by comparing the calculation result and the ideal value the configuration of the design process using IP core successfully implemented on FPGA resources optimization scheme,verify the feasibility of its function.The results show that the high performance RTU designed in this paper can meet the requirements of high speed and high precision.The high performance RTU device based on zynq has the advantages of low cost,high precision,strong real-time and high reliability.
