Research On Soundscape Space In The Old Town Of Xiahe County

In the trend of rapid globalization and urbanization,there has been a global "simultaneous" problem.In the current urban planning and environmental protection planning,people often pay attention to the material space and ignore the immaterial space,pay attention to the noise control,neglect the soundscape analysis,and make the control of the sound environment become a mere formalityAs a soundscape element in the dimensional level,soundscape plays a crucial part in maintaining the features and vitality of a city.A research on the city soundscape can make contribution to building an orderly and sound city and it boasts far-reaching significance in terms of strategy and tactics.Xiahe County as a tourist city of the typical Tibetan Buddhist temple,in the state of Gannan and the Tibetan assume an important religious tourism and the religious function of national and regional characteristics is very outstanding,but in the strong impact of tourism,is also facing the traditional culture digestion,image transformation,function disorder,mixed voice the Plight and image in solemn silence in stark contrast,affecting the image and function of the city.How to promote cultural diversity,highlight the national and regional characteristics,and the construction of city image,sound space atmosphere echoes is particularly important.Under the guidance of environment-behavioral theory and place theory,this paper by means of field measurements obtaining the sound objective data of Old City of Xiahe County.Firstly,draw sound level maps combining the ArcGIS software,to summed up the whole soundscape characteristics of Old city of Xiahe County from the angle of space-time.And secondly,discussed the soundscape of the monastery district,residential district,business district,administrative office district,plaza and waterfront in detail.By study the following conclusions are obtained:(1)The soundscape spatial characteristics: the old city of Xiahe County soundscape space presents a characteristic axis spatial pattern obvious point,confirms the old city of Xiahe County is the typical characteristics of strip city and single street development mode;the low value area level formation in homogeneous residential areas and Temple District and other regions,have high sound level value in roadtraffic along with "nodule area;sound level along the street on both sides of the transition to Zha Xi Qi has a significant attenuation trend.(2)Time Characteristics of soundscape: Compared with the general County,there’s a typical particularity in Xiahe County’s.The occurrence time of the soundscape has some connection with the life rhythm of the monk and inhabitant’s.Sound level value of the old city 5 hours showed obvious rhythmic variation characteristics.(3)Characteristics of soundscape in different functional areas: The distribution of soundscape space in Xiahe County is consistent with that of urban functional spaces.The monastery district,the commercial district and the administrative office district all have the noise exceeding problem.The monastery district is subject to the activities of the festival,the regularity of monks’ life,the soundsacpe has obvious regularity and periodicity of time,inside the temple show from the temple to the sound level of road features on the south side of Xiahe,to the north side of the mountain gradually decreasing,the boundary space affects the overall sound level of big temple soundscape atmosphere,is the the carrier of Xiahe County characteristics.Tower wow community is typical of quiet space,the lack of internal public space.Business district in the space near the monastery is a typical appurtenant space of the monastery,the types of business forms of a stable soundscape environment.The characteristics of the soundscape in the administrative office affected by the government unit scatter distribution,sound level value is volatile,and related to the people’s official commute time.People have obvious demand for public spaces such as squares and waterfront,but there are many problems,such as low utilization rate,relatively simple soundscape type and single activity type.Based on the above conclusions,the paper proposes soundscape guiding suggestion by adjusting the optimization of the structure of urban functions,traffic noise management from the aspects of the overall optimization of acoustic landscape environment,different functional areas from the soundscape construction target,put forward suggestions for the optimization of soundscape in three aspects and specific measures of sound control.
