| After Islam entered China,Chinese Muslims were emerged by the fusion and exchange between Chinese culture and Islamic culture.The new existing culture of Chinese Muslims absorbs the essence and exuberant vitality of Chinese and Islamic cultures,so it is entirely the achievement of mixing Chinese traditional culture and Islamic culture together.This mixing between two systems of famous cultures adds beautiful harmonic scenery to the Chinese culture.Lanzhou city locates in Gansu province,which is one the most important distribution areas of Chinese Muslim,and because Lanzhou city is Silk Road’s important cross point,therefore people’s culture in Lanzhou city has a diversified culture’s characteristic and a rich variety of customs and traditions.Up to now,Lanzhou Muslims’ all aspects of life are developed very quickly,including mosques which are the most important buildings in Muslims’ life,therefore study and analyze mosques’ architectural,changes and develops,space’s distribution and decorate characteristics is deeply study and analyze the most important and beautiful fusion and exchange between modern Chinese and Islamic cultures.This study takes Lanzhou mosques as the research object,with two theoretically and practically research methods have been selected to finish this work.Reading books,theses,journals etc are involved by the theoretical part.On the other hand,visiting mosques,mosques’ Imams,taking photos,analysis etc are involved by the practical part.Therefore,in order to get more detailed study,the study and analysis of all aspects of Lanzhou mosques culture’s core points are presented by two main points: firstly,study and analysis how Chinese traditional culture and Islamic culture influenced all aspects of Lanzhou mosques’ architectural design including the architectural style and the plane layout etc,and all parts of the mosque structure including pray hall,minaret,roof dome,lectures’ hall,mosque’s main gate etc.secondly,study and analysis how Chinese traditional culture and Islamic culture influenced Lanzhou mosques’ decoration art,including colors and colors’ overtones and connotations,decorative pattern,decorative materials and methods.The study and analysis results of Lanzhou mosque reflect the perfect fusion and harmonious exchange of Chinese and Islamic cultures.Similarly,the research results show how structural,decoration and functional aspects of Lanzhou mosques’ aspects have changes and developments.All of these changes and progresses carried out to improve the general aesthetic and functional performance of mosques.Finally,as stated above,Lanzhou mosques extinction for the fusion between the principles of the Chinese traditional culture and the Islamic culture;in the same time,the aesthetic psychology of Chinese Muslims is reflected by this new fusion. |
