Diesel Generator Fuel Consumption Monitoring And Management System Based On Zigbee Wireless Transmission

Diesel generator is widely used as power supply equipment,it is not only used in the communications,military,hospitals and other field as cooperation power or standby power,but also widely used in the areas that power system cannot transport to because of the flexible,less investment and other characteristics,such as oil field,mining area,forest and pastoral areas.Facing the shortage of energy and resource of global problems,some of the enterprises interior still used the extensive consumption management,diesel generator fuel consumption data is not accurate enough,providing a normal oil opportunities,this phenomenon caused significant pecuniary loss to the enterprises and the country.Therefore,it is of the vital significance to realize the accurate measurement of diesel fuel consumption,improve the fuel metering fuel consumption level and perfect the management system to reduce fuel consumption and raise the fuel utilization rate.This paper studied and designed a fuel consumption measurement and management system with the Zigbee wireless transmission function for one oil field in Xinjiang.The system achieved the fuel flow pulse signal acquisition in the oil diesel generating sets' working process the through the sensor,the fuel consumption instrument to realize the fuel consumption data storage,display and real-time monitoring,the wireless radio frequency device to realize the fuel consumption data transmission from the fuel consumption instrument to PC wireless to solve routing of complicated problems.The system also designs user management software to achieve the fuel consumption data of remote management.Fuel management system based on the Zigbee wireless communication consists of slave computer,communications and host computer three parts.The slave is the fuel consumption instrument installed in the oil field diesel generating sets,mainly included the turbine flow sensor,the text PLC machine,serial conversion module,SD card storage module and industrial power for fuel consumption data measurement,storage and display.Communications is mainly composed of Zigbee data collection and receiving modules.respectively,through the RS485 interface of the fuel consumption meter terminal and the RS232 interface of the PC end,composing of Zigbee network to realize the fuel consumption data wireless transmission.Host computer is the PC installed fuel consumption data management software,it can receive the fuel consumption data which send from the client and display together with,analysis the data through software.Comparing with the traditional fuel consumption monitoring design method,this system has low system error due to the adoption of a sensor with high accuracy;has a more stable and reliable performance because of PLC core;possesses a more simple and economic data transmission method with the Zigbee protocol communication.The data received form using both SD card and Zigbee wireless transmission ensures the data not lose.
