Partial Discharge Ultrasonic Array Positioning Method is a kind of partial discharge positioning new method which is based on an ultrasonic array sensor and array signal processing technology.Currently,there is little research about partial discharge positioning method and system which were based on a variety of forms array structure,we need to study from the positioning algorithm and experimental validation of positioning.This paper is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China(51307060)"Research on the extraction strategy of partial discharge ultrasonic array signals",Natural Science Foundation of Hebei Province in China(2010001703)"Research on the location of partial discharge in power transformer based on ultrasonic array sensors" and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities(09MG09)"Research on the location of partial discharge in transformer using ultrasonic phased array",development and application of partial discharge ultrasound array positioning system being studied.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,the basic principle and its application direction ultrasonic sensor array is introduced,and a direction finding cross localization method based on four platforms is proposed,through the Matlab simulation software simulation of the sensor localization research with different array structures.Secondly,16 ultrasonic sensor array elements are designed,and acceptance of each ultrasonic sensor performance test.line type,cross type,square and circular ultrasonic sensor array assemblies are designed,the assemblies can plug and play,and can according to need to increase or decrease the number of sensor arrays.Therefore,it is able to assemble the ultrasonic sensor array of various structures with the different number of sensor arrays.Then,based on the ultrasonic array of sensors,a complete array of PD ultrasound positioning system is built.Finally,in the partial discharge positioning experiment using the design of line type,cross type,square and circular ultrasonic sensor arrays.Analysis and comparison of a variety of sensors array structure in the partial discharge positioning in the accuracy and reliability,the correctness of the algorithm and the effectiveness of the experimental system were verified.
