Nowadays,cities are increasingly congested by large ownership of cars.In fact,how to easily find an unoccupied parking space in a large car park is a problem for many people,whose impact on environment,living quality and national economy is considerable.In order to solve the problems of overwhelming number of vehicles compared to scarce parking spaces,and difficulty in parking for residents in the cities as well as unconvenience of people to quickly find parking spaces in more traffic places,a research of the passenger car parking space detection system based on Magneto-resistive sensor has been presented.It has significant meaning of the construction of intelligent parking lot.Because of the features such as low cost,low power consumption,low complexity,easy installation,high accuracy,long life and other advantages.This article selected HMC5983 magnetic sensors of magnetic resistance type for geomagnetic field value acquisition,and chose low power consumption MCU MSP430F2274 as a data processing center,and used CC2530 to constitute ZigBee wireless transmission module.At the same time,it also wrote a simple software with C#,whhich means to fulfill the real-time monitoring and voice broadcast of status.The main research contents in this thesis are as follows:(1)To fulfill the real-time monitoring of the parking state and improve the utilization efficiency of parking spaces combined with the current social background of city transportation.the whole structure design of parking detection system is proposed.(2)Based on the simulation of the influence of the geomagnetic distribution on the passenger cars,magneto-resistive sensorsare fully used to test the distribution and changes on the bottom of different model of vehicles and the three-axis component of their surrounding geomagnetic field,which has important reference value for research on monitoring of parking spaces.(3)Proposed a parking detection algorithm,tested its detecting accuracy as well as stability.After the system test,this geomagnetic parking space detection system's detection accuracy is 96.43%,which has basically completed the expected goal.Based on the analysis of the test results,there are some issues.Through research and analysis of these problems,the article proposed the future research direction of geomagnetic parking space detection and the main research mentality.
