With the increase of population and urbanization,traffic congestion becomes a growing worry for the residents and it's imminent to find its solutions.At present,the rapid development and in-depth study of VANET has made that possible.VANET is a new application wireless network which appears with he popularization of the vehicle and the development of the ad hoc network technology.It has a great application prospects in traffic information alert,traffic safety,vehicle communication and vehicle Internet access.The research of vehicle mobility model is the basis of the effective implementation of VANET.A mobility model should be able to reflect the mobility situation of the nodes as realistic as possible.Based on the weekday mobility model,this paper improves and extends its traffic mobility model,and,in particular,the vehicle mobility model.Considering traffic jam,we construct a novel vehicle mobility model that includes traffic-jam points and therefore is able to avoid traffic jam.We also simulate the proposed model on The ONE simulation platform.By analysis and comparison,we verify the effect of traffic jam on a vehicle mobility model,and even on a traffic mobility model.We also explore such effect on the performance of upper-level routing protocols(e.g.,average delay,the success rate of sending packages,the overhead rate of networking).The main works are as follows:(1)This paper illustrates the principles and requirements of mobile model modeling,the general steps of mobile model modeling are elaborated from two aspects:the initialization of the model and the modeling of the node's mobility behavior.Futhermore,the progress and shortcomings of the previous research on current DTN network mobility model are analyzed.(2)Aiming at the lack of traffic congestion in the mobile model of previous research of DTN network,wepresent the he spatio-temporal modeling of urban hot spots based on kernel density estimation clustering analysis algorithm.(3)By analyzing the traffic congestion mechanism formed by he spatio-temporal modeling of urban hot spots,we proposed aCity Vehicle Mobility Model Based on Weekday Mobility Model.Simulation results demonstrate the influence and importance of traffic congestion in vehicle mobility model.
