The Study On Civil Aviation Surplus Management Improvement Based On Hainan Airlines

For civil aviation airlines,spare parts for maintenance cost accounted for 13%-20%of the whole operating costs.Therefore,the cost control for spare parts management is very important for the company.The research for spare parts cost control is mainly focus on inventory planning.However,as the fleet upgrades,the spare parts are left when the old airplanes retire.The spare parts not only take a lot of warehouse space but also require airlines invest manpower and money to manage them.Take Hainan airlines co.,LTD.as an example,the spare parts take up 11.53%of the whole inventory assets.The Chinese airlines and spare parts suppliers gradually take into account for surplus management,but the study on this field is lack of systematic in Chinese airlines.The method of surplus disposal is limited and inefficient.Based on current situation,it is necessary to discuss the surplus management.This article introduces the current research status on surplus management in both domestic and abroad.Try to discuss improve surplus management from define,forecast,control,disposal through the analysis of historical data,using the scientific method.Put into practice in Hainan Airlines co.,LTD.,based on the spare parts management structure,combined with the actual work.Achieve the goal of decrease percentage of surplus,cost control.The article consists of seven parts,includes preface,literature review,the;development of surplus management and experience of the industry,current status of surplus management of Hainan Airlines co.,LTD.,management practice in Hainan Airlines,optimization solution for surplus management,consequent conclusion.
