Research On The Facade Construction Of University Libraries

The 21 st century is an era of knowledge economy,the higher education cause develop rapidly.The campus construction throughout in full swing,a lot of university libraries have sprung up.Library as a multiple center campus in the new period and iconic place.Its facade design has become the focus of the external campus space design.The library facade modeling showed a new tendency,but its expression of place spirit,region and ecology still need to strengthen.Construction of the building as a direct creator of architectural significance,these phenomenon provoke me to reflect on the clues and order of the facade construction.In combination with the examples of domestic and foreign university libraries,This paper studies the library facade construction from the viewpoint of morphology.The discussion is divided into five chapters,roughly summarized as follows:The first chapter introduces the research background,research scope and the related concept definition,research purpose and meaning,research status,research methods and thesis framework.The second chapter combs the development of university library and facade evolution,summed up the facade characteristics during each stage,and points out that the current development situation of the library in the new period.Meanwhile,the chapter also discusses the material and spiritual dual function on campus,and points out the function of the library facade to the reader's psychology and the outer space construction.From the four aesthetic aspects of form,color,light and texture,the third chapter analyzes the facade composition of university library.From the aspects of structure,function,space and creation,probing into the construction of its facade form.The charper also explores the use of color and texture and the role of the antithesis of light and shadow on the libraries facade construction.At last,the chapter generalizes the aesthetic evaluation theory and standard about the facade construction.From the three aspects of humanity care,context and regional expression,meaningful form,the fourth chapter sorts out the humanistic expression of the libraries facade construction.Pointing out that the facade construction not only should be the reason poetic reproduction of the containing space and function,but also should pay attention to the emotional expression of the region,context and time.In fifth chapter,the author discusses the eco-technology about the university library facade construction.From the natural environment,the chapter points out that the facade construction should take proper siting and layout,the form should be symbiotic with the environment.at the same time should be optimized for low cost form facade design to lay the foundation.Second,from a technical level,pointing out that the facade construction should focus on heat preservation and heat insulation,light shading,natural ventilation and other technical expression.In addition,the facade should pay attention to detail facade construction,so that the facade showing simple form orderly and clean image.Meanwhile,the chapter also proposes that facade construction should adopt appropriate technical language,suitable for energy conservation and environmental protection materials and new energy.Overall,the article want to do a summary for the current university library facade creation,reflecting on the current phenomenon such as virtuosity,stylized,symbolic and the form of plagiarism.Besides,hoping to provide some practical guidance for theory and practice related to the creation of the facade.
