Since the official opening of China's refined oil market,a large number of foreign petroleum enterprises and domestic private enterprises have begun to explore and develop the refined oil market.The refined oil market is gradually improved in the process of economic sustainable development,and the competition is increasingly fierce.The infiltration relationship among companies is also becoming increasingly obvious.To improve the competitiveness of enterprises,Y company will be selected as the research object in this paper.Based on the theories of joint inventory management and inventory management,it will conduct optimization research on the inventory management of refined oil products.Firstly,this paper summarizes and summarizes the research status of inventory management at home and abroad,introduces the concept of refined oil and inventory management,and then expounds the related theories of inventory management,including the concept of inventory,the objectives and Strategies of inventory management,the significance and model of inventory management,and the methods of optimizing inventory management of refined oil depots.Based on the above theoretical research,this paper studies the actual situation of Y company's refined oil depot inventory management from the aspects of company's inventory management level mode,organizational structure,and storage characteristics of inventory management mode,and discusses its shortcomings.Through the investigation and analysis,the company's inventory management has the following shortcomings: low inventory turnover rate,obvious bullwhip effect,unreasonable product oil stock,high inventory cost.The reasons for its existence may lie in the lack of inventory management mode under the supply chain environment,the low level of informatization,the mismatching of coordination mechanism,and the lack of internal control.Based on the above problems,this paper introduces the joint inventory management theory to optimize the inventory management of Y company.In order to solve the inventory management problem of Y company,we need to strengthen the information construction,establish the JMI supply and demand coordination management mechanism,and improve the internal control management system.It is necessary to strengthen the process,oil depot layout,supply chain and personnel support.Through the above research conclusions,it has a certain reference value for the inventory optimization management of Y company as an example.
