The concept of green development has become one of the five new development concepts to guide China's economic development and social progress in the future.The long-term and rapid development of industrialization in China,as well as the traditional industrial growth model characterized by high input,high consumption,high pollution,low quality,low efficiency,low output and pollution first and treatment later,have also brought a series of challenges such as climate change,waste of resources and environmental degradation.Accelerating the transformation of the development mode of manufacturing industry and promoting the green transformation of manufacturing industry are the ecological environment foundation and main construction contents of the modern economic system,which are of great significance to promote the construction of regional ecological civilization and the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.In the era of digital economy,multi-source and heterogeneous data have become new factors,and big data technology is an important tool to mine data value.The rich data resources accumulated by the integration of IT application and industrialization have become the basis for the deep integration of big data and manufacturing industry.Big data is an important driving force for the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry and the innovation of business model,which promotes the green development of manufacturing industry.This paper focuses on the green development of China's manufacturing industry,not only focusing on energy conservation and emission reduction,but also enriching the understanding of the connotation of green development of manufacturing industry from the perspective of ecological industrial structure.Taking the application of big data as an important measure,this paper systematically studies the big data,the green development of manufacturing industry and the influence mechanism and action principle of big data on the green development of manufacturing industry from both theoretical and empirical aspects.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to implement the big data development strategy,promote the deep integration of big data and manufacturing industry,and coordinate regional economic development.This paper consists of seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the necessity of sustainable transformation of China's manufacturing growth model and the possibility and practice of using big data to boost the green development of manufacturing.Secondly,it has sorted out relevant literatures and theories at home and abroad.On the basis of summarizing the connotation of big data,it has redefined big data,and the connotation of green development of manufacturing industry is supplemented from the perspective of clean structure.The second chapter is the theoretical basis.We summarize the theoretical basis from the perspectives of technological innovation theory,sustainable development theory,industrial ecology theory,industrial structure theory and Marx's theory on technological innovation and green development.The third chapter is the analysis of the influence mechanism of big data on the green development of manufacturing industry.We summarize the influence mechanism of big data on energy conservation and emission reduction from energy consumption structure and energy utilization efficiency,analyze the influence mechanism on the structure of manufacturing industry from endogenous mechanism,dynamic mechanism and environmental mechanism.The fourth chapter is the measurement and characteristic facts of big data.This chapter firstly establishes the big data quantitative index system from the network infrastructure,technology innovation,commercial application and development environment,and analyzes the development characteristics of regional big data.The results show that the development speed of big data in China has increased rapidly,and the eastern region is the main force of big data development.The fifth chapter analyzes the green development level and its evolution trend of manufacturing industry from three approaches of green development.In general,from 2005 to 2018,the green development of China's manufacturing industry was on the rise,the energy consumption intensity and pollutant emission intensity were on the decline,the energy consumption structure was improved,and the clean structure of the manufacturing industry was also on the rise.The sixth chapter is empirical research.Taking 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2018 as the research objects,this chapter empirically studies the influence of big data on energy input,environmental output and clean structure of manufacturing industry.In terms of energy input and environment output,The results show that big data can effectively improve the energy consumption structure of manufacturing industry,improve energy utilization efficiency,reduce carbon dioxide and industrial waste emissions,and western and central regions benefit most and outweigh eastern regions.Big data can promote the clean development of manufacturing structure,and eastern regions benefit most,followed by western and central regions.The seventh chapter is the conclusion and suggestion.This chapter mainly summarizes the main conclusions of this paper,and puts forward Suggestions on how to play the "multiplier effect" of big data on the green development of manufacturing industry in the future,as well as how to coordinate regional development.
