| The topicality of the current study can be considered from the point of view of globalization problem.The latter has become an important real aspect of the modern world system,one of the most influential forces that determine the further course of the development.It affects all areas of public life,including economics,politics,social life,culture,ecology,security,etc.Globalization can be understood as a huge increase in the scale of world trade and other processes of international exchange in an increasingly open,integrated,unrecognized world economy.It concerns not only traditional foreign trade in goods and services,but also currency flows,movement of capital,exchange of technologies,information and ideas,and movement of human resourcesIn order to demonstrate the specified problem in detail,the case of Stroygarant PF Ltd.(Republic of Tatarstan,Russian Federation),one of the manufacturers of metal siding in Russia,was chosen.The family business growing for the last ten years is tightly connected with foreign suppliers of such raw material as steel rolling.However,the situation changed when there was rapid growth of the company's business in 2011.In order to increase profits it was necessary to diversify the suppliers.At that time the choice was made in favour of Chinese producer as it was open to work with Stroygarant.It was testing variant and further it was planned to search for other suppliers in China to find the best.This strategy was based on the widespread idea that China is very huge and offers wide variety of products and raw materials.Since there were very low labor costs,it was easy to find products with low prices which were crucial for manufacturing company.That's why the work with Chinese producer started.In connection with the situation described above it was reasonable to conduct deep study of all the pitfalls which were missed in the process of Stroygarant PF Ltd.business functioning.On the one hand,it would be useful for the company in strategic plan.On the other hand,this is the first step to offer ways of improving work between Russian and Chinese partners.These statements gave the possibility to formulate research question: ‘How to improve import of steel products for Stroygarant PF Ltd.,in particular,and cooperation between Russian and Chinese companies as a whole? Correspondently,the aim of the current work is to identify the ways of improving Chinese import of steel products to Russian company through specifying possible risks in business.For better achieving the aim the following objectives were formulated relatively the situation in common and in particular concerned Stroygarant: 1.To make literature review for further analysis.2.To specify advantages and disadvantaged of import supplies from China to Russia.3.To study the risks which Russian company has in cooperation with Chinese one.4.To define the ways to improve import of steel products to Russian company.To be more precise,the object of the current work is risks in the foreign trade activity between Russia and China.The subject of the study is the ways to improve this activity on the example of Stroygarant PF Ltd.In order to provide better structuring of the work it will be divided into five chapters which include the following data: 1.Theoretical background concerned organization,cross-cultural communications in business and risk management.2.Methodology where algorithm of research is written.3.Defining of advantages and disadvantages in foreign trade activity between China and Russia.4.Consideration of Russian company and its risks within the cooperation with Chinese company.5.The last chapter summarizes all the studied data in the form of finding ways to improve cooperation of Stroygarant PF Ltd.with Chinese partners.The novelty of the current work is the attempt to demonstrate risks of exact Russian company in cooperation with Chinese partner at specific area. |
