With the rapid development of information age,enterprises are facing the challenges of fierce market competition.In addition to the rising cost of labor and raw materials,the competition of product sales market makes the pressure of enterprises more and more.As the direct creator of the economic profit,the salesmen play an increasingly important role in the enterprise.As the foundation and key aspect of HRM,performance appraisal plays an important role in several aspects,such as in motivating employees and evaluating performance,enhancing the core-competitiveness of enterprise,promoting enterprise rapid development and improving economic efficiency.Therefore,it has important theoretical significance and application value to establish a relatively scientific and reasonable performance appraisal system for salesmen.In this paper,we conduct a research based on the domestic and foreign literature,the salesmen of company A are taken as the research object of performance appraisal.Firstly,the paper summarizes the relevant theories of performance appraisal,analyzes the current situation of salesmen assessment of company A,and find out some problems through questionnaire survey,including the lack of connectivity with the enterprise development strategy,the unreasonable design of performance assessment indicators,the imperfect assessment communication and feedback mechanism,and the narrow application scope of assessment results,and analysis the causes of the problems;Secondly,the KPI and 360 degree appraisal method are comprehensively used to determine the appraisal subject,qualitative and quantitative indicators;and the AHP method is introduced to determine the weight of appraisal index.The appraisal system of salesmen is optimized from the aspects of the appraisal subject,the appraisal index and its weight.Taking salesman B of company A as an example,the paper gives an example of performance appraisal method,the feedback communication and results application of performance appraisal should be strengthened.Finally,the optimization strategy of salesmen in company A performance appraisal is put forward form the perspective of people-oriented,internet plus performance management and so on.The research of this paper is helpful to improve the performance of salesmen,promote the implementation of organizational strategic objectives,enhance the core-competitiveness and economic benefits of enterprises,and provide reference for the performanceappraisal of salesmen in the same type of enterprises.
