Terrorist attacks which take knifes as tools always lead to lots of casualties.Stab-resistance body armors can protect people from harm in similar incidents.However,poor comfort limits the use and popularization of stab-resistance body armors.In order to improve the comfort of stab-resistance body armors,this paper designed seversl programs of heat-dissipation micropores and put forward a human thermal model which can be applied to hot and humid environment and assess human comfort and simulate physical parameters in hot and humid environment.This paper designed 12 programs of heat-dissipation micropores for pyramid stab-resistance body armors and fixed the optimum one by hammer-impact experiment.The optimum program has 9 micropores whose diameters are 2 mm.Then this paper measured the thermal resistance and wet resistance of a nonporous and a poriferous stab-resistance body armors by a thermal sweating manikin,Newton.The results proved that micropores contribute to improving the comfort of stab-resistance body armors.Based on the model which is only applicable to ordinary temperature,this paper put forward a human thermal model which can be applied to hot and humid environment.During the research process,the influence of high temperature in human body was taken into account.The model has two parts,human body system and clothing sustem,and can depict the heat flux among human-clothing-environment.For verifying the human thermal model,the measured core and skin temperatures were used.The comparisons between the measured data and simulated resulated results showed that it can predict the core and skin temperatures well under hot environments.Then the paper used the model measured physiological parameters of people who wear a nonporous and a poriferous stab-resistance body armors respectively,and the results indicate that the micropores can improve the comfort of stab-resistance body armors.
