| In the first half of the twentieth century,domestic political power and social turmoil changed,and the economic situation was complicated and changeable.As a product of the development of the commodity economy to a certain period,paper money has developed rapidly during this period after undergoing a series of material innovations and printing technology improvements.At the same time,modern banknote printing technology has been introduced into China from the West,accompanied by a wide variety and a huge number of new banknotes.These banknotes use special high-quality printing materials and advanced plate-making printing technology,and their production become more difficulty.The new-style banknotes use these new materials and new technologies,so their anti-counterfeiting forms are more diverse,and their anti-counterfeiting capabilities have been greatly improved.The emergence of a large number of new banknotes is a fertile soil for the research of banknotes.At present,in the research of paper money in the same period,few scholars have comprehensively sorted and summarized paper money anti-counterfeiting technology,and also lacked detailed analysis and research on specific paper money samples in this period.Based on this,this paper takes the paper money of this period as the research object,using the literature analysis method,experimental analysis method,comparative analysis method,firstly divides the paper money anti-counterfeiting printing technology,and then uses the scanner,ultra-depth 3D video microscope and other tools to take the British,American and domestic printed banknote samples for observed and analyzed,and then the microscopic features and anti-counterfeiting technical characteristics of banknotes were summarized and related conclusions were drawn.In addition,they can also provide theoretical basis for the classification,authenticity and art appreciation of banknotes.Through literature review and experimental exploration,the author mainly studies the anti-counterfeiting technology of British and American printing and domestic printing banknotes from three aspects: graphic design anti-counterfeiting,printing process anti-counterfeiting and printing material anti-counterfeiting.Generally speaking,the anti-counterfeiting technology for printing banknotes in Britain and the United States is more advanced and complex;while the anti-counterfeiting technology for printing banknotes in China is weaker and simpler.The specific analysis conclusions are as follows:In terms of graphic design anti-counterfeiting,the shading patterns of foreign-printed banknotes appear more frequently,and they are mostly gradient shading;the size of the flower pattern is large and very exquisite;the lace patterns are different in shape,and the overall is more complex and beautiful,And has a strong Western style;embossed patterns only appear on Banknotes issued by the Bank of China on the US Banknote Corporate Edition;dark images are often seen in hidden corners and lines such as portrait borders,main scenes,edge of group flowers,border curls,etc.Sometimes,some styles are more unique,especially the American Banknote Company’s secret graphic contains its company name abbreviation.The shading pattern of domestic printed banknotes has a low frequency and is mostly monochromatic shading;the size of the flower pattern is small and the lines are relatively simple;the lace pattern is relatively simple and also has a Western style;the relief pattern has not been found in the samples;There are many types of dark images.In terms of anti-counterfeiting of printing technology,there are many types of printing colors for foreign currency banknotes;letterpress printing,lithographic printing and gravure printing are widely used,especially gravure printing is frequently used;combined use of overprinting,overlay printing,multi-color cross printing or wiring printing.The printing procedures is complicated.There are fewer types of printing colors for domestic printed banknotes;letterpress and lithographic printing are used more,and gravure printing is used less;the printing method is simpler and the process is less.In terms of anti-counterfeiting of printed materials,most of the banknote paper used for printing paper money abroad is Dowling paper,and the watermark paper is used by British companies;among colored fiber paper,colored fiber silk paper is produced by British companies,and colored disc paper is produced by the United States the company.Banknote paper used in domestic printing of banknotes combines Dowling paper and bond paper.Watermark paper and colored fiber paper are very rare. |
