Innovation-driven development strategy requires enterprises to improve the capability of independent innovation continuously,and radical innovation is one of the effective ways for enterprises to achieve the aim.Not only can radical innovation greatly improve products' performance,significantly reduce costs and extremely reach the ideal level of the system,but also help enterprises expand market share,occupy the market dominance and form new market rules.However,the risk of radical innovation is high,and if it fails,it may lead to the demise of the business or the exit from the market.In order to improve the efficiency of the radical innovation,this paper uses performance requirements in the process of system problem analysis to form a problem-analysis model.Technology evolution trends,effects and other theories are used for the problem solving process,constructing a functional solution process model and proposing a progressive function reorganization method.The radical innovation model is built based on system structure,providing powerful theoretical tools for product innovation and the core competitiveness for enterprises.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1.By analyzing the needs of relevant users,the unmet needs of the system are determined and the construction process of the corresponding relationship between performance requirements and system structure are discussed,based on which two types of system problems are identified: demand-structure problems and demand-function problems,constructing a process structure model for radical structural innovation.2.By discussing the advantages of trimming,the feasibility of applying it to radical innovation is analyzed and the application of trimming method to solve the demand-structure problems of the system is achieved.Based on the trimming rules,technology evolution trends and effects,trimming problems is solved and a progressive function reorganization method is proposed.Application effects and function-oriented search method are used to solve the demand-function problems of the system,completing function design and building a function solution process model.3.By analyzing the domestic and foreign scholars' views of radical innovation,this paper puts forward the definition method of radical innovation and as the criterion of radical innovation.And based on the acquisition of performance requirements,the analysis of system problems and the solution of the problems,a radical innovation design process model based on the change of system structure is constructed,providing a new idea for innovative design theory.4.Applying the radical innovation design process model based on the change of system structure proposed in this paper,designing the garlic peeling equipment,which verifies the results of theoretical research is scientific and correctness.
