The further opening of China's market economy environment and the development of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things pose serious challenges to the level and efficiency of technological innovation of these enterprises.CT company is a national high-tech enterprise spree in the lock industry.Judging from the development in the past five years,the whole lock industry competition focuses on the market share of smart locks.The intelligent and Internet development of locking research makes the traditional internal competition step into the cross-industry competition stage.In the next five years since,cross-industry competition will inevitably lead to a major crisis or even bankruptcy for a number of companies in the traditional smart locking industry,due to their lack of innovation in research and development.The reshuffle of the lock industry forces CT company to face the challenge of enterprise technology research and development innovation in the cruel market competition environment,in order to improve the company's competitive advantage with more accurate product positioning,lower cost,and faster speed to bring products to the market.This paper attempts to analyze the research and development process,organizational framework and product development platform management of CT lock company from the relevant theories and methods of project management and integrated product development management(IPD).First of all,we introduced R&D management and project management,We collated and analyzed the literature and theoretical knowledge to lay a theoretical foundation.Then we introduce the basic situation of the locking industry and CT company,highlight the current situation of the company's R&D management,and point out the existing problems in the R&D model.Then combined with actual situation of R&D of CT company,we formulate concrete improvement measures according to the project management and IPD R&D theory.Measures includes: strengthen market demand management,build technology innovation platform,set up integrated portfolio management team,build structured and standardized product development process,and provide implementation guarantee from optimizing performance appraisal and strengthening the construction of technical talent echelon.This paper will not only help CT lock company to develop a R&D model and implement safeguard measures in line with its own situation and future development,enhance the company's R&D capabilities and market competitiveness,achieve sustainable profit growth.Meanwhile,through the example analysis of CT locking company,it could also be of reference to the implementation and improvement of the lock industry in the process of promoting the reform of IPD system under the complex market competition situation.
