With the rapid development of economy,environmental pollution problems are becoming more and more serious,and even have affected people’s health and life,so environmental protection is imminent.To this end,the government has formulated a series of environmental regulationpolicing policies to control the pollution emissions of industrial enterprises.In addition,due to the increasing lysing of resources in China,the development of manufacturing industry has been limited.The best solution to this is innovation,that is,through innovation to seek breakthroughs,so industrial enterprises to carry out technological innovation activities become inevitable.And enterprises should strive to improve the income at the same time to take into account the pollution emissions of enterprises,the two need to be reasonable distribution,then the study of environmental regulation and manufacturing technology innovation between the relationship between the two can provide enterprises with a certain idea.This paper mainly studies both theoretical and empirical aspects.The theoretical part first describes the relevant variables of the study,and secondly,it also studies the mechanism of the inter-action between the main variables,which provides the relevant theoretical basis for the empirical research.The empirical part analyzes the impact of environmental regulation on the technological innovation of China’s manufacturing enterprises by constructing the measurement model and using the panel data of 27 manufacturing enterprises in China from 2005 to 2015.In addition,this paper also takes capital deepening as an intermediary variable to analyze the threshold effect of environmental regulation on technological innovation.The results show that there is a "U"-type relationship between environmental regulation and manufacturing technology innovation,but because the environmental policy is not strong enough at this stage,it has a negative impact on technological innovation.With the increasing intensity of environmental regulation,enterprises tend to improve their production technology,which will be conducive to technological innovation.The return of the threshold with capital deepening as an intermediary variable shows that there is a double threshold effect of capital deepening for the current manufacturing industry.And in the different threshold range of capital deepening,there are corresponding differences in the effect obtained.With the increase of capital deepening level,the role of environmental regulation in promoting technological innovation is gradually increasing.At the level of light pollution industry,the results show that there is a single threshold effect of capital deepening.When the level ofcapital deepening exceeds the threshold,environmental regulation has a positive influence on technological innovation.On the level of heavy pollution,there is a double threshold effect of capital deepening. |
