Design And Expression Of Phoenix Pattern In Modern Wedding Cheongsam

Phoenix pattern is a traditional decorative pattern with strong oriental characteristics,which has been widely used in all aspects since ancient times.It is not only a perfect image in people’s mind,but also has profound cultural connotation,and is a kind of auspicious and beautiful spiritual sustenance.In the past,phoenix patterns with beautiful meanings often appeared in weddings.Recently,with the impact of western culture,the frequency of phoenix patterns began to decrease.As the turning point of Chinese traditional and modern clothing,cheongsam is often worn on grand occasions.It is necessary to design and apply the phoenix pattern in modern wedding cheongsam with the phoenix pattern as the main body and the cheongsam as the bearing object.This paper starts from the recognition of phoenix pattern to the design creation,and the recognition of the research subject is the basis of the research.In this paper,first of all,by using the data collection method,through the network data query and the information collection of books in major libraries,the characteristics and characteristics of phoenix pattern and cheongsam in each period are summarized;then,by using the action research method,the summarized information is designed and practiced.The whole creation process is divided into four aspects: Cheongsam style and phoenix pattern,color design and material selection,and three schemes are designed,from which the best scheme is selected from material selection,plate printing and sewing to ensure the final design effect.Based on the unique shape of Chinese cheongsam,phoenix pattern is used as the object in the design of wedding cheongsam,and thetraditional form and modern elements are integrated to make a wedding dress with Chinese characteristics and suitable for modern society,so that the traditional wedding form can be selected by more people and contribute to the development of traditional culture in China.
