The most important part of the car is the tire.There are about 300 million tires scrapped by Chinese cars every year.The quality of the tire will directly reflect the safety performance of the car,which ultimately affects the survival of people.The parameter that can intuitively determine the quality of the tire is the appearance quality of the tire,which constitutes an extremely important part in the tire production inspection.The inspection of tire appearance at home and abroad is mostly manual,which has low efficiency and long time.With the development of adaptive imaging technology,its advantages of accuracy,high efficiency and stability apply to the current non-contact detection technology.This paper studies the defects in tire appearance and develops a high-speed flexible tire appearance defect detection system.Using adaptive complex surface imaging technology,it can clearly capture and store all the information of the tire's internal and external surfaces.Based on image processing technology,the information To identify and classify defects.First,discuss and classify the defects of tire appearance.By dividing the inner surface of the tire into 6 parts and the outer surface into 12 parts,the high-speed flexible imaging of the inner and outer surface of the tire is performed using the steering-camera imaging module.Based on the principle of the snake-shaped robot,the "deformation" action of the module can be completed by connecting the servo to the servo,and the camera at the end of the module is always facing the tire surface to achieve perfect imaging.Secondly,build an inspection platform,including a fixed tire rotation device,a six-axis mechanical arm,a servo-camera imaging module,etc.,the imaging module is moved to the initial detection position by the mechanical arm to start the detection,the tire rotates half a circle,and the robotic arm drives the imaging module Group reverse detection to achieve complete imaging of tire appearance.Finally,the image processing system is used to perform image preprocessing and image stitching on the tire appearance image to achieve the initial identification of tire appearance defects.In this paper,by designing and developing a high-speed flexible tire appearance defect detection system,we completed the inspection of different types of tire appearance.This system is quick,comprehensive,and efficient,and can replace manual detection and connect to the tire production line,laying the foundation for automated tire appearance defect detection in the tire industry.
