A Study Of The Composition Of Contemporary Han Embroidery Patterns In Wuhan

Wuhan Han Embroidery,as a regional embroidery species in Hubei,has a long history and splendid achievements.Han embroidery has a history of more than 2,300 years.It originated from Chu embroidery in the Warring States Period.It developed to its peak in Wuhan in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.After the social changes,contemporary Han embroidery has experienced twists and turns.Because of its valuable artistic value,in 2008,Han Embroidery was successfully included in the "Second Batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage List".On October 27,2013,the national non-heritage project "Wuhan Hanxiu" was approved to be registered as "China Geographical Indication Trademark" by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.Contemporary Wuhan Han embroidery is a traditional local craft embroidery.It needs both inheritance and innovation and richness based on maintaining its unique pattern art style and craft characteristics.This article starts from the question of what are the characteristics of Han embroidery graphics,and takes the composition of contemporary Chinese embroidery patterns as the research object,and explores the unique pattern design characteristics of contemporary Chinese embroidery,which is different from other embroidery species,and the law of its own evolution.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which introduces the research significance,methods,and background of domestic and foreign research status.The second chapter is an overview of the historical and environmental background of contemporary Chinese embroidery.The third chapter summarizes the traditional and emerging themes of Chinese embroidery on the basis of interviews,image collection and arrangement,and summarizes the collective and interesting features of contemporary Chinese embroidery.In the fourth chapter,the author starts from the experiential experience and talks with the inheritor,and analyzes the design of the Chinese embroidery pattern.Combining the visual language of contemporary Chinese embroidery with the plane composition,expression techniques and formal beauty of the patterns.Explain the associative thinking in the design process of Chinese embroidery from the perspective of pattern designer and receiver.In addition,it also summarizes the inheritance methods of Han embroidery patterns,and proposes that Han embroidery follows the design law of rheology and constantness between patterns and techniques,and Chu culture.The fifth chapter,based on the background of Han embroidery and other embroidery species,the theory of embroidery,and modern design,summarizes the aesthetic style of Han embroidery patterns,and makes preliminary thoughts on its evolutionary causes.
