After the September 18 th Incident,Japan stepped up its pace of foreign aggression.Due to the lack of local resources in Japan and the necessity of maintaining the resources necessary for war consumption,Japan has always tended to "support the war by war" during its expansion.Beginning in 1906,Manchuria began to conduct exploration activities at Anshan Iron Mine at the request of the Japanese government.In 1913,Japan used traitors to form a "rejuvenation company" jointly organized by China and Japan in Chonghan.In 1915,the Manchu Railway Corporation successively grabbed the mining rights of Anshan and its surrounding areas by the hand of the "Zhenxing Company".Anshan Iron Works was established in 1918,and the Showa Steel Works was formally established on the basis of the original iron works in 1933.During the period when Manchuria Steel Holdings was in Showa Steel Works,it first annexed "Zhenxing Company" and Gongchangling Iron Mine to grab mining rights,and then built blast furnaces and added steel-making equipment.After being placed under Manchuria,the Showa Steel Works shifted its focus to the production of steel,and successively revised its production increase plan to maximize profits.Eventually,the Showa Steel Works was merged into the Manchuria Steel Co.,Ltd.,and with the defeat of Japan's war situation,it was annihilated.As one of the colonial enterprises established by Japan in the Northeast during the Manchukuo period,Showa Steel Works was not only a product of Japan's aggression against Northeast resources,but also an indelible evidence of Japan's invasion of China.By combing the establishment and production of Showa Steel Works,analyzing its unique development process and characteristics,and summing up the various impacts eventually,it can reveal the essence and purpose of the establishment of Showa Steel Works in Japan.
