Application Of Bionic Design In The Design Of Wooden Toys For Children

As an intellectual medium,toys can strengthen the training of children's physiological functions and enhance their perception and understanding of the world.As one of the branches of toys,wooden toys have a long history,attracting the attention of consumers with their natural and durable characteristics,occupying a broad market.In addition,since the beginning of the last century,the design culture caused by production mode and cultural exchange has led to the cultural integration of modern design.The production of big machines makes the shape and style of some daily necessities become similar in the world,and at the same time,the products lose their distinctive regional characteristics.As far as children's products are concerned,receiving native culture education from infancy will play a great role in shaping their world outlook in the future.At present,the design mode and production mode are undergoing major changes,small batch production can be achieved,so those children's toys with local cultural characteristics,began to get the attention of the society.Some concrete or abstract characteristic elements are extracted from the regional biological prototypes,and the language of toys is enriched through the forms of "shape","color" and "structure",so as to satisfy the early education of children and ensure their healthy physical and mental development.Therefore,using bionic design thinking method to extract the cultural connotation of selected design elements is the significance of the author's design exploration.In this paper,based on the content,principles and method of bionic design,this paper selected elements reflect the culture of the spirit have special significance as the breakthrough point to carry on the design,and relying on the bionic design way of thinking to choose some localrepresentative of the cultural elements in wooden toys design to design practice to explore,from the aspect of plastic arts and mental performance level wooden toys for a period of time in the future development direction.
