Study On Animal Patterns Of Xilankapu

Xilankapu is an outstanding representative of the intangible cultural heritage of Tujia nationality.Its rich visual patterns and the core technology of "through the meridians and wefts,reverse picking and weaving" jointly construct the material symbol of national emotion and identity.In a variety of design types,with unique cultural connotation and characteristics of animal design as the research object,on the basis of field survey and data processing,in the form of artistic styles analysis method,through to the animal pattern motif prototype,the relationship between the form and image expression of specific analysis,find and open the economic harmony among the form of analysis system,and on its development path,namely the design practice of deep thinking.This research consists of five chapters.The introduction is a review of the research background and significance related to this topic,the research status at home and abroad,as well as a further explanation of the research methods and innovative points.The first chapter is the general situation of silankap.Combing the historical development of silankap with relevant documents and historical records,classifying the overall pattern types presented in the current research results,emphasizing the internal influence of weaving technology on pattern vision and conducting market research on related products.The second chapter is the composition of the motif of the animal pattern in the Xilankapu.On the basis of fieldwork and literature,this paper makes an overall analysis of the animal motif of Xilankapu from two aspects: the type and source of the motif.According to the cultural attribute and pattern characteristics of animal motif,it can be divided into four categories: solar term concept category,national totem category,animal shape category and local characteristics.The representative motif is selected in turn for prototype source and structure analysis.The third chapter is about the formal features of the animal patterns of Xilankapu.Based on the collected animal patterns of Xilankapu,according to the skeleton organization of the patterns,they are divided into straight line,broken line,compoundand free shape,and the specific case analysis is carried out with typical animal motifs,reflecting the diversity of animal patterns and colors.The fourth chapter is about the expression of animal pattern image in Xilankapu.This paper discusses that the formation of pattern image is influenced by real life,spiritual world,national totem and region,and finds that the image follows the logical relationship from "image" to "meaning" by combing the basic structure of image,and further analyzes the materialized expression of image.The fifth chapter is the exploration of the future of animal pattern design in Xilankapu.Based on the theoretical analysis of the second,third,fourth chapter,the design prospect and evolution trend of animal patterns are predicted.Combined with the current situation of product development,the design path of motif reconstruction,skeleton replacement and image interest expression is proposed,and design attempts are made one by one.
