Research On The Application Of Xilankapu Traditional Pattern In Modern Leisure Women's Fashion Design

In May 2006,"the Tujia brocade handicraft" was listed in the first batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritages by the State Council.As the main body of the Tujia brocade,Xilankapu is the soul and root of the Tujia brocade with a history of over a thousand years.It is found in many field investigations in Longshan of Xiangxi,Jishou,Zhangjiajie,Enshi of Hubei and other places where Xilankapu remains,which the inheritance status of Xilankapu is not optimistic.At present,the Youshui River Basin is the only folk heritage area of Xilankapu,and the inheritance strength of the young generation of brocade is even less and less.In this paper,the traditional patterns of Xilankapa in western Hunan are excavated,summarized and sorted out,and further studied.Through the extraction of the color and shape of Xilankapu's traditional patterns,the patterns were re-designed by generalizing,dispersing,and reconstructing,so that it can be innovated and applied in the design of modern leisure women's fashion design.Through this series of leisure Women's fashion design works,the traditional pattern of Xilankapu is integrated into the modern design,aiming to improve the value and taste of clothing;at the same time,the essence of traditional national culture is deeply explored to help the development of traditional folk crafts in Wuling mountain area.The combination of Xilankapu's traditional patterns and costume designing is beneficial to the inheritance and development of Xilankapu IntangibleCultural Heritage.Costume designing needs to innovate and develop,and it is inseparable from the application of ethnic cultural elements.The design report is divided into three parts: firstly,this paper describes the current status of Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritance with clothing as the carrier.Through market investigation on the application of Xilankapu's traditional patterns in costume designing,it expounds the application status and existing problems of Xilankapu's traditional patterns in costume designing.The market feasibility of combining Xilankapu's traditional patterns with casual women's clothing was analyzed.Secondly,it summarizes the classification and artistic characteristics of Xilankapu's traditional patterns,and expounds the main ways and problems faced by Xilankapu's inheritance,and it analyzes the practical application of traditional pattern of Xilankapu in the design of modern casual women's wear from the two aspects of application value and application principle.Finally,the design practice is elaborated from three aspects: design concept and position,style design process,and garment making process.Through preliminary market research,a large number of theoretical analysis and specific practical operations,this research design finally designs and produces a series of modern casual women's dresses that meet the market demand and have the innovative consciousness and ethnic cultural connotations.In this design work,the traditional patternsof Xilankapu are applied to the current popular casual women's clothing design.The ancient heritage and costume designing are combined to give costume designing a new meaning.At the same time,using the power of design to dig deep into traditional culture and contribute to the inheritance and development of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Xilankapu.
