Fatigue is not easy to detect and is often overlooked. The eye is the most important way for the outside world information to enter the human brain, therefore, the study and research on the eye movement is of great significance for a deep understanding of the human information processing process. At present, the research of fatigue identification mainly focuses on human subjective feelings or brain waves,ECG,etc.,when using these techniques to detect fatigue, there are some defects, such as strong subjectivity, tedious steps and so on.Therefore, the study of the relationship between eye movement parameters and fatigue degree will help to identify fatigue and analyze the influencing factors of fatigue. This study mainly uses the eye tracking technology to obtain the changes of eye movement indicators and their main influencing factors under different degrees of fatigue state and non-fatigue state, which provides a reliable basis for fatigue detection.Firstly, the research significance of fatigue testing, the harm of fatigue and the influencing factors are analyzed, and the eye movement parameters of the subjects with different ages, genders and different fatigue conditions are recorded by using the eye tracker, mainly including the number of fixation points(FC),the average fixation time(AFD),the average eye movement amplitude(ASA),the response time(RD)and the Max pupil area(Pupil Max),the five eye movement indexes were statistically analyzed by SPSS software. The experimental results showed that four eye movement indices of FC,AFD,ASA and Pupil Max could detect the fatigue state of the subjects, and RD could not detect the fatigue status of the participants. The range of each variable is: the fatigue status of the subjects can be determined by the four eye movement indicators: FC,AFD,ASA and Pupil Max.The subjects are non-fatigue when the FC is in(11,13)interval,the AFD in(328,409)interval,the ASA in(5,7)interval,the Pupil Max in(992,1124)range.The subjects can be identified as fatigue state when FC is in(7,10)interval,AFD in(263,319)interval,ASA in(2,4)interval and Pupil Max in(584,935)interval.From the three aspects of gender, age and gender and age comprehensive attributes, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Analysis of variance of FC and Pupil Max shows that FC and Pupil Max will differ with the sex of the subjects, and that the eye movement index FC,Pupil Max can effectively detect the fatigue state and non-fatigue state of different genders. In addition, women are more prone to fatigue than men.(2)Through the analysis of the variance of ASA and Pupil Max,it shows that ASA and Pupil Max will be different with the age of the subjects, and that the eye movement index ASA and Pupil Max can effectively detect the fatigue state and the non-fatigue state of different age groups.30-40 age groups had the best results when they were reading, and the subjects in the 20-30 age groups had the most effect, while those in the 40-50 groups were the least effective.(3)There are interaction effects between different ages and genders, and the combination of sex and age have influence on eye movement index, and it is believed that Pupil Max can effectively detect the fatigue state and non-fatigue state of sex and different age groups.
