Quartz glass is a kind of hard and brittle material.Because of its good mechanical properties,thermal properties,optical properties,insulation properties,chemical properties and radiation resistance,it is widely used in advanced technology manufacturing industries such as electric light sources,aerospace manufacturing,chemical processes,electronic products,and optoelectronic communications.In view of the low polishing efficiency of quartz glass and the poor surface quality after grinding,it is difficult to meet the requirements of industrial production.In this paper,the internal surface of quartz glass tube is polished by means of the traditional magnetic particle polishing and finishing process.Because magnetic particle grinding technology has the advantages of good flexibility,wide range of action,and strong flexibility,the current stage flat,complex curved surfaces,irregular small parts,hole edge burr removal,tube internal surface area carbon removal,and weld skin grinding All have good processing results.However,during traditional grinding,the grinding pressure is small,the effective length of the grinding area is short,and the material of the quartz glass tube is hard.Although traditional processing has improved,the grinding efficiency is low,and the surface quality after grinding is poor.In view of the above problems,this paper takes JGS2 quartz glass tube(? 30 × 150 mm)as the research object,and carries out a number of tests.Firstly,the cylindrical auxiliary pole is added on the basis of traditional grinding,and Ansoft Maxwell software is used to simulate the auxiliary pole without adding pole,adding cylindrical auxiliary pole and cylindrical slotted auxiliary pole,and the optimal scheme of built-in auxiliary pole is obtained.Through the magnetic field simulation and analysis,the spherical magnetic pole chain which is superior to the cylindrical auxiliary pole is selected as the auxiliary pole,and the different quality ratio of the mixed abrasive is ground and polished,finally the abrasive quality ratio and the surface quality of the quartz glass during the rough grinding are obtained.On the basis of rough grinding,ultrasonic assisted magnetic particle grinding process and chemical magnetic particle composite grinding process are respectively selected for precision grinding,and the above two processes are respectively set up under different factors and conditions for finishing grinding,ultrasonic assisted grinding is analyzed from particle trajectory to get the best combination of process parameters,and the best process parameters and experimental results are obtained The results show that the surface quality is better in the comparative analysis;the chemical magnetic particle composite grinding is carried out from four factors of abrasive particle size,pipe rotation speed,flow speed and hydrofluoric acid concentration,and the optimal process combination is obtained.Under the optimal process parameters,the surface roughness is effectively reduced and the surface quality is effectively improved.
