On the basis of combing and referring to the existing industry analysis model and profit model,this paper designs the strategic emerging industry analysis model and enterprise profit model suitable for China’s national conditions,and analyzes the genomics application industry and its core enterprise BGI Genomics with these two models.The strategic emerging industry analysis model proposed in this paper is composed of four quadrants and four objects.The four objects are industry,enterprise,scientific research institution and government.The model analyzes the industry from the perspective of systematic classification.Enterprise profit model analysis model is designed as a structure of four vertical and three horizontal,each vertical is composed of three profit elements,forming a force in the direction,respectively,resource integration ability,product and service ability,stakeholder ability and financial ability;Each horizontal direction is composed of four profit elements,forming a flow direction in this direction,which are risk flow,information flow and cash flow respectively.Systematic and comprehensive analysis is conducted on the studied enterprise through the above design.The analysis of the applied industry of genomics shows that the technical progress of the industry reduces the threshold of industry entry and intensifies the market competition.At present,the main problems in the development of the industry include insufficient investment in scientific research,lack of core technologies,inadequate market access and supervision,and insufficient risk awareness.By identifying the profit model of the company based on the self-established profit model,the author found that the company had insufficient product supply and operation ability in cash flow.In the information flow,there are problems such as too high proportion of sales expenses and insufficient investment in research and development.In the risk flow,there are problems of inadequate risk control and serious brain drain.The above problems lead to the gradual loss of bgi’s competitive advantage and profitability.Finally,the paper puts forward the corresponding strategic development Suggestions for the genomic application industry and BGI Genomics.
