Research On Toy Design Of Visually Impaired Children Based On Tactile Experience

Toys are essential articles in children’s daily lives.Good toy design can bring pleasure to children,which is a medium for their study and a good assistant for their parents.With the rapid development of economy,the types of children’s toys in the market are constantly updated.However,most toys are designed for normal healthy children in the long run,and the demands of some visually impaired children are often ignored,which leaves them go to the market and use toys that are set "unreasonable" for them.This paper selects visually impaired children among special groups of children as the research object,and they occupy a certain proportion in the social structure.Visually impaired children usually suffer from inferiority,closure and other physiological defects due to lack of vision,which lacks a sense of security.Now that products are constantly being updated,designers need to stand in the perspective of humane care and consider psychological and physical aspects to design toys that meet the needs of visually impaired children.Therefore,this article proposes the application and research of tactile experience in the form of visually impaired children’s toys.Based on the physical and psychological analysis of visually impaired children,study their tactile experience,analyze the tactile sense from the perspective of the concept and formation of tactile sense,the relationship between active and passive tactile sense,and frictional tactile sense,and put forward the tactile experience in visually impaired The importance and feasibility of children’s toy design.Analyze the deficiencies of existing children’s toys in terms of function,material,etc.,and the design of visually impaired children’s toys on the market,sum up a set of design principles suitable for visually impaired children’s toys,and finally take Zhejiang Province School for the Blind as the design background.Feasible visually impaired toys for children.This paper enriches the theoretical knowledge of tactile experience through the research on the field of toy design for visually impaired children.At the same time,it also puts tactile experience into the design of toys,and learns the elements of design from a new perspective.There is large potential of visually impaired children’s toys in the market,so the design of toys for visually impaired children must comply with the corresponding principles and corresponding design methods.
