Research On Evolvement And Current Application Development Of Chefoo Hand-made Bobbin Lace

Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace is fabricated via hand knitting using superior cotton thread,distribution of design sample,hundreds of specially-made little bobbins.The early Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace is used as edge ribbon ornament is applied in the field of clothing(skirts,neckline,cuffs and etc.)and supplies.The early design method of organization for chefoo hand-made bobbin lace is so-called "two-dimension series",the later period of its development,the organization design changes to "four consecutive",and the fabrication route is developed and completed.With optimization of fabrication and construction method,Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace changes from simple ribbon ornament to textile handicraft with complex hollow out structure and well-designed pattern,which has high aesthetics value and humanity art feature.Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace was intangible cultural heritage of Shandong province in 2013,which awarded the "National Gold Cup" of Chinese arts and crafts,"Baihua Awards" of Shandong arts and crafts.When Chefoo was opened after The Second Opium War,Majolan and his wife,the British missionaries,taught the local women the skills of hand-made bobbin lace in Chefoo,which began to develop in Chefoo.Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace was folk for arts and crafts favored by the market,because of its unique artistic form and aesthetic integration Jiaodong traditional arts.Moreover,Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace was the embodiment of European foreign art and the sinicization of the design idea and technique under the spread of western influences to the east.The reconstruction of Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace was carried out by introducing local arts and crafts characteristics of LU embroidery and Jiaodong paper-cut,then in line with the combination of Chinese and western cultural connotation and aesthetic value.Based on the historical materials and real objects related to hand-made bobbin lace,this research makes a detailed analysis of its historical evolution in Europe,and probes into the localization reconstruction process of Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace.The influences of different social changes,historical trends and economic and trade changes on the lace-making system,artistic aesthetics and folk culture are summarized,so as to explore the rules of the development and change of the art form and humanistic connotations for Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace.Inheritance state of skill and culture from Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace as intangible cultural heritage was systematically studied.Based on ideas of living state protection,the shape structure of the bobbin lace was constructed by design element originated from regional features and tourism resource in Yantai,local folk arts and crafts techniques,rural revitalization and vocational education.Adverse situation of its inheritance and management was also analyzed in detail.Moreover,suggestions for improving in development of Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace were obtained.Transition inducement of Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace was investigated.Optimization suggestion of artistic characteristics in Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace was summarized,promoting Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace into the field of cultural and creative industries.Chefoo hand-made bobbin lace expanded into cultural and creative industries of artwork,building of island of intangible cultural heritage,standardizing education cultivated reserve forces and made them compound with modern cultural industries,which were conducive to facilitating inheritance and development of its manual skill and cultural connotation.
