As a kind of utensils,furniture is not just simple daily necessities and furnishings.In addition to satisfying people’s daily life,it also has rich cultural connotations.China’s furniture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties was the pinnacle of China’s traditional furniture.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,several furniture styles with various regional characteristics were gradually formed in China,such as Jingzuo,Guangzuo,and Suzuo.Among them,Jingzuo furniture has been in a higher social position since it was born because it represents the aesthetics of powerful people..Jingzuo Furniture has a history of two or three hundred years.However,with the passage of time and social changes,the style characteristics of Jingzuo Furniture are changing,and relying on its own special regional culture to form its own unique furniture style.Since its inception,Jingzuo furniture has been in a high social position because it represents the aesthetics of powerful people.Jingzuo Furniture has a history of two or three hundred years.However,with the passage of time and social changes,the style and characteristics of Jingzuo Furniture are not static,but are advancing with the times,actively developing,and forming on the basis of their own special regional culture.Your own unique furniture style.This article takes Jingzuo furniture as the research object.Based on predecessors’ research,through literature reviews,field investigations and expert interviews,we first started with the historical evolution of Ming and Qing furniture to study the formation,development and changes of Beijing furniture.Then from the modeling,materials,decoration,comprehensive analysis of the artistic characteristics of Beijing furniture.Finally,taking Longshun,a representative enterprise of Jingzuo Furniture as an example,to carry out an in-depth study on the technology of modern Jingsuo furniture.This article defines the meaning of Jingzuo furniture by combing the historical context and summarizing the artistic characteristics of Jingzuo furniture: modern Jingzuo furniture refers to the use of high-quality hardwoods such as red sandalwood,rosewood,and nanmu in and around Beijing,Huali,etc.,mainly bas-relief,represented by the palace style of furniture.According to the research on the technology of Beijing furniture,the production of modern furniture is introduced by machine,and the modern concept of modern assembly line operation is used to combine mechanical production with traditional processes.Under the current background of the country’s vigorous promotion of cultural heritage protection and the revitalization of traditional crafts,Jingzuo Furniture will rise again and get the attention of the society.This paper is based on the author’s personal investigation and research to study the history,artistic characteristics and craftsmanship of Jingzuo Furniture,Provides a reference for people’s research.
