Water-based epoxy emulsion uses water as a dispersion medium,and has the characteristics of small odor,no VOC(volatile organic compound)or low VOC emissions,low price,and mild curing conditions during production and construction;while retaining solventbased epoxy resin Excellent abrasion resistance,impact resistance,high hardness,high adhesion and other physical properties and excellent water resistance,solvent resistance,acid and alkali resistance and other chemical properties,are widely used.In this paper,the relationship between the type of catalyst and temperature and the reaction time and conversion rate in the synthesis of reactive aqueous epoxy emulsifier was studied by titration of epoxy value with hydrochloric acid-acetone method.It was found that when boron trifluoride ether was used as the catalyst,the addition amount was 0.2%,the reaction temperature was 90?,and the reaction time was 4 h.Using PEG-6000 as the raw material,the emulsifier prepared at a molar ratio of 1: 1.2 to E-51 has the best effect.The structure was characterized by infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance.An aqueous epoxy emulsion was prepared by the reverse rotation method.The effects of different emulsification conditions on the emulsion were discussed.It was found that the amount of emulsifier added was 25%,the emulsification temperature was 80?,the speed of the high-speed disperser was 3000r/min,and the emulsification time was 30 min.The emulsification conditions are most suitable.An aqueous epoxy emulsion was prepared according to a certain formula,and the performance characteristics of the prepared emulsion were determined through various performance tests such as pencil hardness,adhesion,and salt spray resistance after the emulsion was cured.In this paper,epoxy-terminated silicone IOTA105-1000 was reacted with PEG-6000,epoxy group: hydroxyl = 1.2: 1,boron trifluoride ether as catalyst,reaction temperature was 90?,reaction time was 6h,and epoxy-terminated epoxy was synthesized.The structure of polyether silicone was characterized by infrared spectrum and nuclear magnetic resonance.A new epoxy modified silicone emulsion was prepared by compounding epoxy-terminated polyether silicone with water-based epoxy emulsifier.When the content is 20%,the emulsion still remains stable,and the particle size can be finer by 20%.A water-based epoxy acrylate emulsifier was also synthesized in this paper.The feeding ratio of n(mole of epoxy group): n(mole of carboxyl group)= 1: 1.1 should be used to obtain a good emulsifier.The structure was characterized by NMR and the reactivity of the emulsifier was proved.When the added amount is 40% during emulsification,a stable emulsion can be obtained,and the amount of emulsifier used is small.The new-type water-based epoxy acrylate emulsion has an average particle size of only 175 nm.
