Abstract/Summary:
Tourists,as participants of tourism activities and key subjects for the implementation of environmental responsibility behaviors of tourist destinations,their behaviors largely determine the quality of the destination’s ecological environment.However,with the rise of mass tourism,the influx of a large number of tourists and the environmental destruction of some tourists have made the contradiction between tourists and the ecological environment of the destination more and more prominent,seriously restricting the sustainable development of the destination At the same time,it also aggravates the tension between people and land.Therefore,how to stimulate or contribute to the environmental responsibility behavior of tourists has become one of the core topics in the study of the relationship between human geography and tourism geography,and the exploration of the formation mechanism of environmental responsibility behavior of tourists has become the focus of academic attention,and has received many theoretical and empirical studies Attention.By reviewing the previous research literature,it is found that there are few studies on the relationship between tourist destination image and tourist environmental responsibility behavior.So,will the tourist destination image affect tourist environmental responsibility behavior? If there is any impact,what is the specific mechanism and boundary conditions of the impact? Exploring the above issues has certain theoretical significance for clarifying the formation mechanism of tourists ’environmentally responsible behaviors,for motivating and guiding tourists’ environmentally responsible behaviors,promoting the sustainable development of tourist destinations,relieving the tension and contradiction between human and land relationships,and implementing the strategy of ecological civilization Building a beautiful China is of great strategic significance.This article takes Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area as a case,and based on the SOR theoretical framework,it builds a tourism destination image as the starting point,environmental affection as the mediating variable,environmental self-efficacy as the regulating variable,and tourist environmental responsibility behavior as the outcome variable Intermediate model,and based on the previous research results,we designed a measurement scale of related variables.Based on the survey data of 348 visitors to the East Lake Scenic Area,we conducted an empirical analysis.Through correlation analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,structural equation model and regression Analysis and other methods have verified the hypotheses proposed in this article one by one,and made corresponding suggestions for the management of the East Lake Scenic Area based on the conclusions.The main research conclusions of this paper include:(1)Both the cognitive image and affective image of tourist destinations have significant positive effects on tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior;(2)Environmental affection includes two dimensions of positive environment and negative environment affection,and each dimension has a significant positive impact on tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior;(3)The tourist destination image is an effective way to stimulate tourists’ environmental affection,and the tourist destination’s cognitive image and tourist destination’s affective image have a significant positive impact on positive environmental emotions and negative environmental emotions,respectively;(4)Environmental emotion plays a mediating role between the image of tourist destinations and tourists ’environmentally responsible behavior;(5)Environmental self-efficacy does not regulate the relationship between positive environmental emotions and tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior.Environmental self-efficacy affects the negative environment.The relationship between emotion and tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior has a significant positive regulating effect;(6)The stronger the tourist ’s environmental self-efficacy,the stronger the positive impact of the tourist destination ’s cognitive image and tourist destination ’s emotional image on the tourist ’s environmentally responsible behavior through negative environmental emotions,the tourist destination ’s cognitive image and the tourist destination ’s emotional image.The overall effect on tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior will also increase.
