Cartridge processing and manufacturing is an important part of modern national defense industry.As the main component of cartridge,the machining quality and efficiency of cartridge case are very important to the whole machining quality and efficiency.In the working procedure of cartridge case,the two processes of grooving bottom and trimming mouth will directly affect the final machining accuracy of cartridge case.With the progress of cartridge manufacturing technology,the production quality and efficiency of cartridge are gradually improving.The machine tool for grooving bottom and trimming mouth of cartridge case is an important part of the cartridge case machining line.The research and development of new type and efficient machining machine tools for grooving bottom and trimming mouth of cartridge case has important engineering application value for improving the machining quality and production efficiency of the cartridge case.In this paper,the requirements of cartridge case production and manufacturing are analyzed.According to the cartridge case cutting principle and processing technical index,the principle design and overall scheme design of the machine tool are carried out.On this basis,the detailed mechanical structure of the machine tool is designed.According to the machining quality requirements of the cartridge case,the geometric motion error of the machine tool is analyzed by using the related theory of multi-body system kinematics,and the geometric motion error of the machine tool is calculated by combining the error influencing factors of the machine tool.In view of the impact of intermittent moving parts on the running stability of the spindle system,the stress state and dynamic characteristics of the spindle system were analyzed,and the deformation of the machine under the impact force was analyzed by establishing the finite element model of the spindle system.The mechanical state and dynamic characteristics of the cutting feed system during machining are analyzed.The finite element model is established to analyze the deformation state of the feed system.In view of the dynamic performance of the machine tool,the mode analysis of the spindle system of the machine tool is carried out,and the vibration modes of each step are analyzed.The results show that the machine has good static and dynamic performance and meets the relevant machining requirements.
