Research On Coupling Coordination Development Of Traffic-Tourism Industry-Ecological Environment

Traffic is a prerequisite and foundation of the development of the tourism industry.It promotes personal and material exchanges between tourist destinations and tourist sources,affects the spatial layout of tourism resources,and is restricted to the industrial structure and ecological environment.At the same time,the tourism industry,as a modern service industry,is an important measure to create cultural and creative industries,improve basic service facilities,and help foster a new regional economic growth pole.As the foundation for the development of the traffic and tourism industries,ecological environmental protection is a basic requirement for achieving regional sustainable development.Therefore,studying the coupling and coordination development of traffic,tourism industry,and ecological environment in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is conducive to promote the crossregional integration and optimization of resource elements.It is a new way to explore the strategic cooperation among Wuhan Metropolitan Area,Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration and Poyang Lake urban agglomeration.Through the collating and analyzing the research results of traffic-tourism industry-ecological environment,this paper verifies the interaction among them from 2001 to 2017 by VAR model,and further analysis the trend of time-space change about coupling degree and coordination degree by using coupling coordination model and spatial gravity model.The results show that:(1)There is a co-integration relationship between the traffic-tourism industry-ecological environment of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,in which there is a mutually causal relationship between traffic and ecological environment,while the tourism industry is a oneway causal relationship with traffic and ecological environment respectively.The negative impact of the ecological environment on each other is relatively large,and the three of them gradually turn into a gentle positive impact,and showing a convergence trend in the later period.(2)The coupling and coordinated development of the traffic-tourism industry-ecological environment in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River from 2001 to 2017 shows an upward trend.The development of coupling degree in most areas changes from antagonism and running-in state to coupling state,the coordination degree also changed from the middle and low coordination coupling stage to the polar coordination coupling stage.On the whole,the coordination degree lags behind the coupling degree.(3)There are regional differences in the coupling and coordinated development of traffic-tourism industry-ecological environment of urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.At first,the performance of Wuhan Metropolitan Area is relatively better than that of ChangshaZhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration and Poyang Lake urban agglomeration.However,the lag effect of ecological environment,tourism industry and traffic restrict the integrated and coordinated development of urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.(4)From 2001 to 2017,the spatial relationship of traffic,tourism industry and ecological environment of urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is relatively stable,and an obvious “circle layer” structure is formed around similar areas such as Tianmen,Qianjiang,Xiantao,etc.Wuhan Metropolitan Area,as the early growth core,has made an important contribution to the development of traffic-tourism industry-ecological environment links in the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.Finally,we summarize the main results,and think about the coupling and coordinated development of traffic-tourism industry-ecological environment and the change of spatial connection in the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River to deepen the economic and industrial cooperation of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,and guide the benign interactive development of resource elements,and form a win-win development pattern of open development and cooperation.
