Children’s Furniture Design Based On Linshu Willow Weaving Technology

As an important part of the 5000 year history of Chinese handicraft culture,willow weaving has a long history,and its origin can be traced back to ancient times.With the continuous progress of human civilization,the weaving technology is also developing,gradually producing many branches,and thus forming a diverse weaving culture.However,throughout the development of domestic and foreign countries,how to change the willow craft mode to modernization is still lack of systematic research.The willow products still maintain the traditional aesthetic level,only pay attention to the sense of form and visual effect,and lack the power to keep pace with the times.The willow products on the market are mainly storage appliances,which are less in style,single in color and not suitable for mass production Therefore,it restricts the development of willow furniture.For this situation,the author takes willow technology in Linshu area as the research object,studies the production process and aesthetic value of willow products,and applies the advantages of material characteristics and practical functions to the design of children’s furniture from the perspective of modern aesthetics and technology.This paper mainly focuses on the willow weaving technology of Linshu,through the methods of literature review,field investigation,design practice and other major research methods,analyzes the willow weaving technology and design performance of Linshu,as well as the feasibility design between the willow weaving technology and modern children’s furniture,and combines the two to design children’s furniture with safety,interest and functionality.The research can be summarized as follows:in chapter two,the materials,tools,techniques and advantages of Linshu willow weaving are analyzed,and the concept,characteristics and classification of children’s furniture are elaborated;in chapter three,based on the previous combing of willow weaving technology and children’s furniture concept,the design and analysis of Linshu willow weaving technology and modern children’s furniture are further detailed;The fourth chapter is to determine the design method and application form to provide theoretical support for the design practice;the fifth chapter is to provide data support for the scheme design through the investigation of children’s furniture market and user questionnaire survey.After obtaining the product demand of most users,determine the service object,and finally,use the plasticity of willow craft modeling to make its functional characteristics and decoration According to the principle of children’s furniture design,the decoration forms are combined,and three schemes are determined for design practice.In the exploration of new forms of structural modeling of children’s willow furniture,new ideas and new ways are provided for the sustainable development of willow furniture.The combination of willow furniture and modern children’s furniture is conducive to the advancement of willow technology,the promotion of willow culture,and the reference for the development of other intangible cultural heritage.
