Virtual reality(VR)is a new technology,which breaks through the limitation of time,space,things and the world,replaces reality with virtual scene,and integrates sight,hearing and touch.While creating user immersive experience,it can also make users become part of the virtual scene,and finally realize human-computer interaction.In the first chapter,this paper summarizes the VR technology and the current situation of university chemistry experiment,the significance of the combination of VR and university chemistry experiment,the research status at home and abroad,introduces the production and design concept of VR film and animation,and puts forward the research ideas of this paper,and realizes VR simulation university chemistry experiment by various means.VR technology has been widely used in information,entertainment and other industries.Although it is a hot and cutting-edge topic in Colleges and universities,it has not yet been popularized and promoted.The reason is that,in addition to the lack of understanding of emerging technologies,it also involves the reform of traditional education teaching concepts,teaching models and teaching methods,as well as the hardware and technical support needed for the establishment of virtual reality laboratories,among which the most important is the software support to simulate human perception models and behaviors.How to use VR technology in teaching,even in college chemistry experiment,there are a series of practical problems to be discussed and solved.Therefore,in the second chapter,this paper discusses the application of VR technology to the hardware equipment needed for University experiments,and puts forward the idea of establishing a platform of university chemistry laboratory using VR technology,including the research topics of new VR laboratory technology specialty.’rhis paper is the first to combine VR panoramic photography and VR animation technology in the fabrication process of micron crystal and waveguide loss measurement experiment.In the experiment,the VR panoramic photography technology,which is used for the first time,not only realizes the authenticity in the immersive experience,but also saves a lot of animation production time,and also takes into account the operation and restoration of the experimental instrument.At the micro level,Cinema 4D software is used to make VR animation part.Even chemical practitioners who have not learned programming can quickly start,so as to better promote VR chemical experiment simulation production.In the subsequent format conversion,there is also room for importing unity 3D software,which can be further developed,upgraded and improved.The final VR experimental software,both in volume and compatibility,can adapt to the current computer hardware environment.From this point of view,the feasibility and rationality of applying VR technology to chemical laboratory teaching in Colleges and universities are verified.Liquid phase self-assembly is a kind of important synthesis strategy in the field of organic polymer synthesis.It is simple and effective.By using the intermolecular interaction and hydrophilic/hydrophobic environment,we can get stable growth and complex structure of micro and nano crystals.Based on the importance of this technology,this paper uses fish eye lens and other equipment to follow the experimental panorama,and finally produces the liquid-phase self-assembly technology simulated by VR technology.On this basis,we use Cinema4D software to create various models from molecular structure to experimental equipment,and combine unity3d software to make teaching software that can be used for VR equipment playback.In the VR experiment playing hardware,this paper uses the development of computer technology to design a cloud server.Students can download and play VR experiments with personal devices.The experiment cost is greatly reduced.To sum up,this paper selects the experiment which needs a long reaction time in the university chemistry experiment,and the experiment which uses the large-scale analysis(observation)instrument to make the micron crystal and determine the waveguide loss.In the university chemistry experiment,this experiment can be said to have a certain significance.In the era of high development of information technology,digital VR chemical laboratory can effectively introduce modern information technology into the management mechanism,and better achieve the sharing of laboratory resources.Students can use the online reservation system to reserve the experimental time.Teachers can observe the experimental results of students through the background,and carry out data statistics,investigation and research.All colleges and universities can also share experimental software,which can be collected on the Internet.Students can use it on weekends or in other non experimental sites for self practice.It greatly improves the efficiency of chemical experiments in Colleges and universities.In this paper,taking the production of VR analog crystal and the measurement of waveguide loss coefficient as an example,starting from the purpose of teaching,the VR technology is used to show the experimental process and achieve the teaching goal in the immersive experience.The application of related software in the field of chemical experiment simulation is developed.Therefore,it is feasible and reasonable to apply VR technology to the teaching of chemical laboratory in Colleges and universities.
