As the device of the chemical production enterprises,ethylene production equipment is critical.For assessment on the scale of chemical enterprises,ethylene production capacity is often considered as an important indicator.Ethylene production is also a key figure in assessing a country’s comprehensive refining and chemical industry capabilities across the world.It is obvious that the role of ethylene production equipment in the petrochemical industry is crucial.The paper focuses on the design and establishment of a steady rate and alarm management and control system platform for a plant’s ethylene production equipment,and integrate,keep statistics and analyze all the data of the ethylene production equipment from the production control to the enterprise management,so as to provide reasonable and effective comprehensively analyzed data and reference of control optimization and alarm optimization for the enterprise management,so that important production indicators of the ethylene production equipment such as automation level,operating stability,alarm management level etc.could be improved.First of all,we designed the data acquisition system of the steady rate and alarm management and control for the ethylene production equipment in this paper,including network structure design,hardware and equipment selection,data flow,and collection methods,and established a complete data acquisition system of steady rate and alarm management and control system to ensure the reliability of production data source.In the next part,we collected various data of the ethylene production equipment,fused and stored the production data of each type,designed and developed the stability rate and alarm monitoring system of ethylene production equipment,and optimized PID and the alarming of ethylene production equipment by using the comprehensive statistical analysis of the two key production indicators,i.e.stability rate and times of alarm operation through the statistics of the two monitoring systems.Last but not least,the paper analyzed the improvement of the ethylene equipment production process from two perspectives:economic benefits and control effects.It can be seen that the study on the steady rate and alarm management and control of ethylene production equipment has a substantial promoting role in the upgrading of ethylene production equipment core production indicators.
