The mining cities damage to the environment in the process of city development and need to consider the coordinated development of the economic,social and environment in the future.In order to make the large ecological benefits,the theory of key eco-section identification will be used.The key eco-section is an effective means of analysis in the field of regional environment and landscape ecology,and also provides a new paradigm for investigating the mechanism and process of regional ecological action.Taking Daye City as an example,basing on ArcGIS platform,this paper investigates the theory and method of identifying key areas of mining city’s ecology,and reveals the different characteristics of key eco-section of mining city man-land system and provides reference for the development of ecological space control measures in Daye City.On the basis of summing up the characteristics of socio-economic development and ecological environment of mining cities and combining with the research results of key eco-section,it is pointed out that the key mining areas of mining cities can be divided into two categories: resource type and location type,among which resource type can be subdivided into the value type and the sensitive type,the position type can be subdivided into ecological process type and mining disturbance type.Aiming to revealing resource eco-section,the identification ideas which combine background correction and patch evaluation are proposed to achieve the unity of relativity and absoluteness.The results show that the key value areas of Daye City include forest land,river corridor and water conservation area in the center of large forest land.These areas have important biological production function and environmental service function or humanistic value.The sensitive key areas include part of the mining area or adjacent mining areas,natural disaster areas of human life concentrated areas and prominent areas of environmental problems.Based on the minimum cumulative resistance surface model(MCR)and the improved mining interference diffusion surface model(MIDR),two types of key positions in Daye City are identified.The results show that the key location of Daye City is about 15% of the total area of the city,and has the corresponding distribution rule.Among them,the key areas of mining disturbance mainly include high sensitive bare land adjacent to mining land and lots with severe soil erosion.It also shows that the MIDR model has a good recognition effect.According to the identification results and classification of key areas,combined with Daye City regional spatial development and ecological environment planning and control requirements,this paper built the ecological environment of Daye City’s security pattern.
