Nowadays, the competition of market economy is increasingly fierce. It can be seen from the cases of many companies at home and abroad that if an enterprise does not pay attention to various financial risks in the development process,it will lead to financial crisis, which is not conducive to the long-term development of the company. Therefore,in order to effectively prevent the occurrence of financial risks, the company should first analyze its own financial risks, find a suitable long-term and effective financial risk assessment method, and establish a financial risk assessment system. In this paper,XH chemical enterprise is selected as the research object to summarize the overall operating situation of the company. Then, through correlation analysis,12 financial risk evaluation indexes are determined from four aspects: profitability, solvency, operation ability and development ability, and the index weight is determined by using analytic hierarchy process(ahp). Then, the improved efficiency coefficient method is used to establish the financial risk evaluation system in line with the actual situation of XH chemical enterprises and calculate the comprehensive risk value from 2014 to 2018.According to the result of risk assessment,it can point out the aspects that the enterprise should pay attention to,which can make the company better face the risk. Finally, the evaluation results obtained by using the efficiency coefficient method are compared with the results obtained by the original evaluation method. This paper aims to help XH chemical enterprises to accurately understand their own financial risks, and provide ideas for their financial risk assessment work, which is conducive to the improvement of enterprises' anti-risk ability.
