Thanks to the "One Belt And One Road" initiative and the "Forum on China-Africa Cooperation",China has achieved good results in its aid to Africa in recent years and its cooperation with Africa.At present,many Chinese enterprises are investing in Africa,covering all walks of life.This paper mainly analyzes the prospects of mining investment in five countries in south and central Africa: Angola,Democratic republic of Congo,Republic of Congo,Zambia and Tanzania.The five countries are relatively rich in mineral resources and have a complete range of mineral resources,including oil and gas,coal and uranium for energy,gold,silver,iron,copper,cobalt,nickel,lead,zinc,tin and lithium for metallic minerals,and diamond and lithium for non-metallic minerals.The mining cooperation between China and south and central Africa has gradually developed and matured.The two sides have stable trade contacts.Therefore,whether the south central Africa region has a good prospect of mining investment has a very important impact on the mining investment of Chinese enterprises.In this paper,using analytic hierarchy process(ahp)to five countries in the region for mining investment prospect evaluation,evaluation index including resources endowment,mining development,market demand and the investment environment of four secondary indexes,through the economic development,social environment,infrastructure,resources quantity,the security situation and the potential resources of the 12 indicators,The result of the comprehensive score is that Congo(DRC)is the best investment destination country.Through comprehensive evaluation,investment Suggestions are drawn :(1)the oil trade with Angola and Congo should be strengthened;(2)the investment focus areas of copper and cobalt mine are Congo(DRC)and Zambia;(3)pay more attention to the blank areas of mining development and grasp the investment opportunity;(4)Gradually expanding the scope of investment,focusing on infrastructure construction.
