With the port economic growth, the bridge as traffic hub, that is increased in the pace of construction the number. The bridge has changed the navigation environment,is also prone to vessel traffic obstacles as its height and width, and increases the risk of an accident at bridge zone. With the increasing volume of traffic and shipping transportation tonnage, the shipping traffic environment become more dangerous and important. With the more traffic accident occurrence and much more personal injuries and property loss, waterway traffic safety becomes much more important. The object of this study is the navigation safety of the Taizhou Jiaojiang Bridge zone.Jiaojiang Bridge is the traffic hub,and its traffic safety was received much attention in recent years. At first,it is to learn the previous research and literature review of the navigation safety study, and also to analyze the natural environment, navigation environment and management environment of Jiaojiang Bridge.Secondly, the waterway traffic accidents influencing factors set is constructed and quantified based on the accidents investigation reports of Jiaojiang Bridge zone since 2010,expert interviews and questionnaire. The evaluation model of the waterway traffic security system is constructed on the basis of identified accidents major infituencing factors by the Method of Fuzzy Mathematics and analysis those factors to assess the traffic risk. Finally, according the results of the evaluation model, the navigation safety,s risk management countermeasure of the Taizhou Jiaojiang Bridge zone is used to provide reference for improving the shipping traffic environment and developing a risk-management strategy.
