NC(Numerical Control)technology is the core technology of advanced manufacturing technology which is a part of common technology.It stands for the level of a country's manufacturing technology and industry.Nowadays,NC technology is widely used in manufacturing all over the world in order to improve the manufacturing capability and level and enhance the adaptability and competitiveness of the dynamic market.The NC system is the heart of NC engraving machines that control the whole system.The control function and performance of NC system influences its processing quality and efficiency which is vital part of cost-effective and market competitiveness.In this paper,the author attaches great importance to study better cost-effective,control performance and accuracy NC engraving machine by using high-performance DSP as the core of the control system.With the depth study of operating system and engraving technology,the author put forward an overall scheme for NC engraving machine based on DSP,and set up a hardware platform based on TMS320F2812 and software platform based on ?COS-?.The whole research design is completely modular.The author uses TMS320F2812 as the control core module for completing the information processing and calculation function of the system,adopts chip SST39VF800 A and chip K9F4G08U0 E to expand the memory module aiming to store processing data and path file,and adopts internal dedicated communication module with chip MAX232 A to achieve communication between CPU and peripherals.The paper devotes itself to implement the control of speed of engraving machine through digital control spindle inverter and to achieve the auto-control of main shaft speed by analog signal.The author uses AC-DC switching power combined with chip LM2576 to meet various voltage requirements in the system,uses PWM pulse signal in DSP to cooperate with Panasonic A5 series servo motor to control the X,Y and Z axes of the position of the workpiece.Therefore,it can clearly know the position of the workpiece by tracking its movement.Finally,the software and hardware of prototype system test shows that both the function and performance of the system meet the expected design requirements.
